Properties and Benefits of Lyche Puree Concentrate

It boasts an array of fiber, vitamins and antioxidants. Lychee is packed with quercetin, which is a powerful antioxidant that provides anti-inflammatory properties, as well as the cancer-fighting heart-healthy kaempferol. The antioxidants also provide the cells with a defense mechanism against free radicals. The fiber, flavonoids, and antioxidants in lychees also help support heart health. Additionally, the fruit contains oligonol, which is known to increase the levels of nitric oxide, according to a study performed on animals. Increased levels of nitric oxide in the blood aids in the opening of constricted blood vessels while reducing one’s blood pressure.Other nutrients found in the fruit like copper, magnesium, iron, folate and manganese help in the circulation of blood. Lychees also have high levels of polyphenols; the most prominent being rutin. Rutin is a bioflavonoid that helps strengthen the blood vessels, hence used for hemorrhoids, varicose veins and bruising.
